TEXTILES AND FASHION INSUSTRY is a study programme for people who want to find out what characterizes the interdisciplinary textile industry and the fashion industry of the 21st century. It is intended for people who think about innovative and interdisciplinary creation of new solutions that the modern textile and clothing industry needs. It is estimated that by 2035 there will be an almost 40% increase in the number of companies operating in this sector.
The curriculum enables students to acquire skills in the use of biotechnology, electrical engineering and nanotechnology for the production of new textiles, 3D products, smart textiles and textile biomaterials. These solutions are used not only in the production of clothing, but also, inter alia, medical materials, personal protection, composite, geo- and agro-textiles.
