Description:
Field of study: Big Data Analytics
Specialization: Big Data Analytics
The graduate has in-depth knowledge of these areas of physics, computer science and mathematics which are useful for modelling and solving problems related to the analysis of large information resources. The graduate knows the most important directions of research in the field of analytics of large data sets (Big Data Analytics), complex systems theory and statistical physics and has skills to:
» use IT tools and technologies to process large amounts of data,
» use methods of physics of complex systems to study and model the analysed information re¬sources,
» find or design an adequate model of the observed dynamic phenomenon and verify it on the basis of empirical data. The graduate will be prepared to work in a dynamically developing market sector related to the statistical analysis of large data sets, aiming to uncover, among others, hidden patterns, market trends, customer preferences, etc.
