Admission to second degree studies is restricted to persons who hold the title of master’s degree (MSc), engineer, bachelor’s degree (BSc) or equivalent.
The candidates are admitted according to the ranking list based on the adjusted score indicated on the completed studies diploma and the compatibility or relatedness of completed studies with the selected second degree course.
The graduate acquires advanced knowledge and skills necessary for solving problems relating to real data analysis and processing. This field of study trains specialists who independently use specialist software as well as methods and analytic tools to solve selected problems relating to real data analysis. The graduate also acquires knowledge of big data, data safety, text files analysis, and reporting. He or she has in-depth knowledge of how to run a simulation of possible scenarios and has skills to visualize and interpret achieved results in the form which meets the employer’s expectations.
Employment opportunity:
Graduates of the modeling and data analysis specialization may be employed in positions requiring solving tasks related to the collection and processing of data available in IT systems, in order to perform analyzes and create reports. On the other hand, graduates of the specialty design and operation of analytical systems - in positions requiring performance of tasks related to the design and use of databases and computer decision support systems.
