Admission to second degree studies is restricted to persons who hold the title of master’s degree (MSc), engineer, bachelor’s degree (BSc) or equivalent.
The candidates are admitted according to the ranking list based on the adjusted score indicated on the completed studies diploma and the compatibility or relatedness of completed studies with the selected second degree course.

The graduate is able to use mathematical models essential in applications of mathematics, is able to use information technology tools to solve theoretical and practical mathematical problems. Graduates of the specialty of mathematical computer science, the specialty of mathematics with computer science in economics and the specialty of mathematics with computer science in finance and insurance can find employment in companies where capital decisions play an important role, and mathematical modeling specialties - in companies implementing new technologies. On the other hand, graduates of the teaching specialty may take up second-cycle studies in the field of mathematics in the teaching specialty.
