Admission for bachelor degree studies or uniform master degree studies is based on maturity certificate results.
Studies last 3 years (6 semesters). They are concluded with a diploma examination. The teaching material comprises fundamentals of theoretic and experimental physics as well as mathematics. Electrodynamics, quantum physics, nuclear, molecular, statistical physics and optics are some of the teaching contents in a more advanced block. Experimental and laboratory classes (including in computer studies) are a significant part of the studies, which together with classes make up a majority of the studies. The teaching material is supplemented with elements of nanotechnology, nuclear power engineering and contemporary physics. Graduates have fundamental knowledge in the scope of mathematics, physics and computer science. The acquired knowledge and skills enable graduates to solve advanced problems of physics. Graduates are prepared to write simple computer programs. They are familiar with advanced issues of physics.
