Description:

The Design Studies Program offered at the School of Form offers a unique and innovative blend of humanities and social  sciences components. The program has been designed under the guidance of Lidewij Edelkoort, the former director of the Design Academy Eindhoven. There are four faculties at the School of Form, including Visual Communication Design, Fashion Design, Interior Design and Industrial Design. Additionally, students have an opportunity to combine their design studies with four humanities and social sciensces focused profiles, such as Anthropology, Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology. The combination of study paths prepares students to become highly skilled designers, who are sensitive to consumers' needs and can design for the future.

EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

During the first year of study, students will complete 4 seven-week modules, each at a different faculty. Once they become familiar with a variety of courses in numerous specializations, they can make an informed choice about the further path of their studies and can choose their final faculty for the rest of the program. During the remaining two and a half years, students will not only gain theoretical knowledge, but they will also carry out projects in cooperation with School of Form's business partners. Additionally, they will practice entrepreneurship skills and acquire business competencies.
