Admission requirements: 

The main admission requirement for the Bachelor's program is a secondary school-leaving certificate and an official certificate stating advanced knowledge of English (i.e. FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL iBT-at least 72 points;  IELTS–at least 5,5 points) - unless the previous studies were conducted in English.

Description: 

Bachelor Programme in International Economics (IE) will enable students to understand and analyze the international environment and context in which private enterprises and public institutions are operating.
Based on the core courses including i. a. economics, finance, law, economic integration, quantitative methods etc. students will be provided with an in-depth assessment of the structure of the economic, financial, legal and marketing systems from an international perspective.
The programme will give students an opportunity to graduate with truly global mindset and ability to understand and efficiently perform in international economic environment.​

Students will be given the opportunity of choosing between three specialisations:

  • Digital world economy,
  • Economics of membership in the EU,
  • International entrepreneurship.

 

The first-cycle studies in International Economics at the Warsaw School of Economics provide the knowledge and develop the skills necessary to start a career in the central and local government administration as well as public institutions and NGOs operating internationally, in manufacturing and service companies maintaining contacts with partners abroad and to conduct an independent business activity whose scope includes foreign markets. They give a good theoretical and methodological basis to take up the second-cycle studies.​ 

 

SGH students may participate in Double Degree Programmes which enables them to obtain two academic diplomas in a single course of study.

Double Degree Programmes available to full-time students of International Economics:

At Bachelor’s level qualifications to DDP programmes take place in the beginning of the second year of studies.
