The aim of Global Business Studies at KSE (GWSH) in Katowice is not only to educate specialists able to solve management and marketing issues independently but also to investigate economic processes and phenomena on a regional, continental and global scale. Students will acquire the knowledge necessary to devise innovative marketing strategies for success in a global market and implement marketing tools for all manner of corporate conditions. Students will also master the ability to analyse changing corporate environments, formulae international contracts and acquire industry-specific vocabulary.
In addition to concrete factual knowledge, this course allows students to develop fluency in industry-specific aspects of business English. Students will be provided an opportunity to sit one of the Cambrigde ESOL-BEC higher (Business English Certificate) examinations. These will be held at the university campus and be administered by fully-qualified examiners. The British Council BEC certificates are recognized worldwide and serve as confirmation of students` practical English-language skills and therefore, suitability for employment in multinational corporations.
