The Double Degree Bachelor Program in Management with Professional Placement program gave me a completely new experience in my life. Not only was I able to study at two very prestigious universities, but I was also granted the opportunity to implement my academic knowledge during my practical phases at work. Due to the fact that I switched from three months of having lectures to three months of working, my studies were always very diverse and never boring. Moreover, I have met a lot of people from other countries and I can say that I have friends in all parts of the world now, which would have not happened without taking part in this program.
I think these studies are unique because none of my friends who are studying “regularly” are able to gain 1,5 years of valuable work experience in one of the world most recognizable companies such as Lidl. This program provides me with a holistic view on how working for a big corporation looks like, which helps me to decide what I want to do in my future professional life. Thanks to this program I am fluent in two languages now: English and German and due to the fact that I made so many friends, I can still practice my language skills every day. During these studies, we were asked to prepare some projects for our companies.
These experiences helped us to better understand the business world and how to actually apply our academic knowledge into everyday business operations. Of course this program is very demanding, but if someone wants to achieve high goals, this is the best way to do it.
