Description:

If you enjoy learning English, would you be interested in exploring its literature, culture, and linguistics at one of the best research universities in Poland while further developing your language skills at the same time? If you speak (and write) English at the B2 CEFR level (5.0-5.5 IELTS or 65 TOEFL IBT), why not enroll into our English Studies Bachelor Program at NCU? The three-year-long studies are a perfect combination of practical and academic English courses (Use of English, Speaking and Listening, Reading and Writing, and Phonetics) and content classes, seminars, and lectures (in Literature and Linguistics), all taught in English. Other courses will include Language Acquisition, Modern Language, Latin, and Social Studies. Courses in Business English and English for Specific Purposes, the latter taught during the Translation Laboratory and requiring fluency in Polish, will help you find your place in the job market after graduation. The skills, knowledge, and social competence acquired during your studies will give you an advantage in translation and interpreting, tourism, business, public relations, marketing, advertising, and copy-writing. Moreover, your acquired skills at the C1 CEFR level (6.5 IELTS or 79 TOEFL IBT) will enable you to continue English studies in our MA program or move on to another field of studies.
