Description: 

COMPUTER SCIENCE is carried out by the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering. The program is taught entirely in English and presents the most recent developments in the very popular and rapidly changing field of computer science. Students gain broad skills in the design of information systems, software development and testing, data processing and analysis. The curriculum prepares students to solve complex technical problems and challenges entailed in this modern and fast-growing specialization.

Each student of the International Faculty of Engineering (IFE), as part of the curriculum, completes at least one semester (6th semester) - "Mobility Semester" - in a foreign university.

 

Graduate profile: 

COMPUTER SCIENCE graduate has fundamental and specialist knowledge of modern computer science, as well as basic knowledge of teamwork management. The acquired education enables him/her to take up a job of a varied nature in high-tech sector. The graduate is prepared to pursue professional career in the field of computer science and related fields, including positions related to organization and participation in the work of large interdisciplinary teams. As the consortia operating in the IT and ICT sector operate globally, graduates of the COMPUTER SCIENCE program are employed not only in Poland, but also worldwide.

Graduates are prepared to learn on their own and are able to pursue second-cycle degrees in this field or in related engineering disciplines, and develop professionally by way of lifelong learning.
