Admission requirements: 

Foreign Secondary School Certificate: Competition on the basis of secondary school certificate – the result of the one of the following subjects is scored: mathematics, physics or informatics. The qualifying score may not be below 35% at the basic level. An applicant while registering is also required to submit a document confirming English proficiency at level B2. Admissions Office KUL wil convert your results into Polish grading system according to the score convertion rules.

IB/EB diploma: The result of the written test is scored on the one of following subjects: mathematics, physics or informatics. If an applicant passed more than one of the above subjects, the best result is taken into consideration. Description: 

Studies prepare for:

  • using for professional purposes a general knowledge of Information Technology and specialist knowledge of the chosen specialization: programming and information processing, computer graphics and multimedia
  • working as a programmer; IT systems designer and analyst; WWW designer, network administrator; system and database administrator; QA tester; computer security specialist, computer graphic
  • working as independent IT specialists or a member of a team and interdisciplinarily cooperating with all others using informatics in their work.

Graduates of “Programming and information processing” specialisation

  • are equipped with the core skills in data protection and cryptography, theory of graphs and networks and complex methods of algorithmizing
  • have advanced knowledge of SQL; can create relational databases for typical purposes
  • can program in objective languages
  • can use design patterns
  • can write scripts and design web apps in a selected framework.

Graduates of “Computer graphics and multimedia” specialisation

  • possess knowledge of mathematical foundations of computer graphics, methods and algorithms in computer graphics, computer-assisted image analysis, computer animation and internet graphics.
  • can use computer graphics applications and tool apps for processing 2D and 3D animations.
