ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
This course prepares students for planning and development of ecological strategies in water, soil, air and landscape protection. They will be able to devise both regional and local programs, plans and projects of water protection systems, sewage neutralization and waste material utilization. In addition, they are trained to carry out interdisciplinary tasks aiming at the solution of environmental problems with particular emphasis on ecology. Graduates will acquire capabilities of estimating environment pollution level and determining appropriate means and methods to prevent and counteract pollution. They may find employment in environment protection institutions, research and monitoring laboratories, industry, various business enterprises and public as well as self-government administration.
