Meeting of CRASP representatives with CNPq

On 3 February 2014 representatives of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP) met with Dr. Liane Hentschke, Director for International Cooperation of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) – the executive agency of the Brazilian government program “Science without Borders”. The Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil participated in the meeting.

The authorities of CRASP and CNPq discussed the terms and prospects of Polish-Brazilian cooperation within the “Science without borders” programme and the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding agreed by CRASP and CNPq. The parties signed a work plan concerning visits to Polish higher education institutions of Brazilian undergraduate and graduate students as well as postdoctoral researchers.

During her stay Dr. Hentschke met also representatives of other major institutions related to research and higher education in Poland.
