A person may be admitted to the Doctoral School if he/ she hold a degree of Master of Science, Master of Engineering, or their equivalent, or a person referred to in Art. 186(2) of the Law on Higher Education and Science Act of 20 July 2018 (consolidated text, Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742 as amended, hereinafter referred to as the “Act”).

Education at the Doctoral School is offered in Polish or English for the entire period of education, on full-time mode and lasts 8 semesters. The choice of the language of education is made by the candidate at the recruitment stage. Education at the Doctoral School prepares PhD students for the Doctoral Degree.
As a result of education at the Doctoral School, the graduate achieves learning outcomes in the knowledge, skills and social competencies in line with Level 8 of the Polish Qualifications Framework. The education at the Doctoral School ends with submitting a PhD dissertation.
